Commissioned from writing brief, to detail design, to obtaining statutory approvals to redevelop the entire former industrial site. This being part of a larger development.
Previously the developer with other consultants had failed to obtain planning permission for residential development of the entire site. Given the Reporter’s reasoning for refusal of the Appeal we proposed a mixed use redevelopment to include this block of Apartments, a Care Home and a Dental Surgery with Flats above. After our detailed discussions with the Local Authority and the immediate community, planning permission was granted without incident.
Features: A total of 9 no. apartments each with their own private entrance. Of that, 8 no. apartments over two storeys with the 9th apartment as a penthouse with rooftop terrace and garden. The block sitting over a semi underground, secure car park for the building.
