From writing the brief, to detail design to construction.
To create a range of detached house designs specifically for this site. Each of the house designs had to be obviously different.
The Local Authority having refused planning permission the application was appealed and granted planning permission after a public enquiry.
Features: The design of the layout to use shared surface access roads – this to reflect the tight layout of the existing village.
The development resulted from one landowner expressing to us about his wish to redevelop his small industrial site for housing. After examination our advice being that his site was more valuable as access to a larger development area (owned by others) behind rather than creating two or three houses on their site.
The developer client became involved and assembled the final development site then undertook the development.
